WHO WE ARE
Creative Classroom Services is a New York based educational professional support company that is comprised of educators who have a wealth of international experience. Creative Classroom Services doesn’t have consultants. All of our team members are EDUCATION SPECIALISTS. Why? Because we believe they are simply some of the best in the business. Our specialists work in a knowledge share basis, meeting regularly to discuss, analyze and coordinate their resources to ensure that the support offered is timely, research-driven, and the best that can be offered in the industry.
OUR EXPERIENCE
The Education Specialists in the Creative Classroom Services team, led by Brian Green, have been leaders in education in both the United States and Australia. Specialists from Creative Classroom Services have an extensive and varied background in diverse educational fields covering all educational levels- Pre-kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school. This work has continued in the United States and in particular, New York City.
WHAT WE DO
Our team has provided in-depth, school-based professional development for teachers and support staff, as well as led principals and school teams in over a thousand workshops across New York City.
They have presented at local, state and international conferences.
Our specialists have also been at the forefront of developing curriculum frameworks through Common Core State Standards and now Next Generation ELA and Math Standards, and models for sustainable leadership. Creative Classroom Services has developed curriculum materials, support documents, units of study, assessment products, and scope and sequence artifacts for over 20 years in both continents. This development of curriculum has continued in the state of New York.
Members of Creative Classroom Services have developed literacy curricula in all five boroughs of NYC, as well as Long Island, Westchester and Duchess Counties. The successful development of curriculum in the in NYS since 2002 has continued to evolve with the advent of changes in NYS testing, the introduction of periodic assessments, and the national/NYSED core standards.
Some of the most important work completed by Creative Classroom Specialists continues to be in classrooms. Every member of the team offers their school partners demonstration lessons, lesson studies, whisper teaching lessons and support for small group discussion. Indeed, this is when the support team are able to maximize and strengthen student achievement.
Each Creative Classroom Specialist is a Teacher Effectiveness Expert. They have been trained in offering support based on a number of models offered across the United States and are often the conduit between school administration and teachers to support teacher growth.
